yoga with öm mind•body fitness
"Yoga" which translates as 'union', is an ancient system of breathing techniques (pranayama), physical exercises and healing dating back to over 5000 years ago. Throughout a yoga class, a series of physical postures (asanas) are performed while linking breath to movement. Through the physical practice of yoga you will create strength and flexibility in the body while bringing a sense of calm and quiet to the mind. The beauty of yoga is that it is accessible to all regardless of age, experience or level of flexibility. Yoga — like life — is about finding bliss and serenity in the moment. So join a class, relax and breathe.
